Western Norway boasts offpiste skiing as good as anywhere in the world, and in the small community of Jostedalen, the snow falls in abundance, and people are scarce.
Jostedalen is the community in Norway which receives the most snow, so on some of our trips, there is a powder guarantee. How does it work? Contact us for more info.
.During the first three months of the year, we ski powder snow in the mid-winter sunglow. In April, May and even June, w

arm days of ascent is crowned with high g-force turns in spring snow.
We think our main attraction is the solitude of our mountains, we still are in many ways an undiscovered place, with no ski lifts in the valley.
Even so, the accessability is good, and we do have the highest average snow measurements in Norway. We offer untracked mountains where only your own heartbeat is heard, unlike crowded resorts.

For 2010 we offer a variety of trips, we suggest to come for a full week to get the most of your stay. Do you prefer daytrips from the hotel, or skiing from hut to hut, we will tailor-make your trip as you want it. You can choose from hotel standard, via mountain hut to tents, if you please...

Lioksli gives us a great view and great skiing. From the top Jostedalsbreen stretches out in the distance the biggest glacier in Europe. A 1200 m descent waiting for us, down bowls and bir Mot Bakkedalen i sol! ch forest.

Buskrednosi
For a good view over Jostedalen, Buskerednosi is our target for the day, and 25 degrees perfect angle skiing is great for telemarkers.

Nigardsbreen ice caves/ iceclimbing in waterfall ice
Experience the Ice cathedral under the famous Nigardsglacier, only 1 hour walking distance on skis. This is a good trip for a day of bad weather, so is the waterfall ice climbing which we offer as an alternative to skiing.
