The Guides

FIMBUL is a winter project, skiing and ice climbing are our main activities.

Started working in 1987, and is also one of the founders of Jostedalen Breførarlag. Has formerly been working freelance in the winter on various assignment courses, guided trips and also as a trekking/climbing guide in Nepal. Has guided  groups on hut-to-hut trips since 1993. Is a certified UIAGM / IFMGA guide and a yoga-buff.

Started working as a guide in 1993. He also works as a ski instructor in Geilo teaching downhill and telemark. Is a certified UIAGM / IFMGA guide. Ask Roger how many people he has guided, and he would not be able to give an answer. Thousands, literally.  


 Bjørnar Bjørhusdal Bjornar på toppen av Lioksla
Began his carer in 1993. Has been working as a guide in the winter for the last 10seasons + 14 seasons for Jostedalen Breførarlag. Is a certified mountain leader for glacier travel and skiing. Bjørnar's an avid skier, and likes winter better than summer, even if that means 3 meters of snow, which in Jostedal is not unusal..
